SHAZAM FOR ANDROID

 

1. Download the Shazam app from the Google Store.

2. Activate the microphone from Settings. Turn on the LOCATION permission for Shazam app.

3. Play any JIN songs on the music streaming platform of your choice.

4. Open Shazam and click on the Shazam button to identify the song.

5. Once Shazam has recognized the song, you have to 'CLEAR DATA', it's extremely important. (ANDROID only)

6. Go to Setting. Click on 'STORAGE' then 'CLEAR DATA'. 

7. Go to 'PERMISSIONS' and check if the microphone and the location are still on.

NOTES:

✅ For Android, you do NOT need to log in at all. Just keep doing Shazam → CLEAR DATA → Shazam → CLEAR DATA  (There is also no need to Shazam other songs in between, although you certainly can.)

✅ Using Android devices, you can Shazam the same song as many times as you want, if you always CLEAR DATA after every Shazam. Note that CLEAR DATA is different from deleting Shazam history.

✅ If you do not clear the data, you can Shazam the same song 10 times, only one Shazam will be counted.

✅ Although it's optional, we strongly encourage turning on the LOCATION permission for Shazam app as it will show your local music industry about JIN' song popularity in your region.

✅ If LOCATION permission is turned on, your Shazam will contribute to both your local Shazam chart as well as Global chart. If it's disabled, your Shazam will only contribute to Global chart.

✅  If you use Auto Shazam when you clear data. All of your settings will be lost. Such as app color themes, auto Shazam or the account connected to Apple Music or Spotify will disappear as well.

TIP:

✅ Shazam can receive music from the outside better than the music from the phone. There will be fewer problems finding the wrong song or unable to find the song. We recommend that you play music from laptop or another mobile phone and use another phone to do Shazam.
